I picked up lots of really bright coloured felt yesterday and have been making some pretty flower corsages in various designs. This morning however I had the bright idea that the rainbow of colours would work really well as May Day Cake Bunting, so that's what I've got on the sewing machine at the moment:
Of course, I'll have to spend the afternoon making myself a Victoria Sponge just so I can show it off!
What have you got on your workdesk this Wednesday morning (WOYWW)?
Have fun. xx

Lovely bright colours. The bunting looks a bit fiddly to make, but very effective. Love the corsages too.
Oh this looks lovely - had a wee peak at your corsages too - they're great - I've been having a go at making them using felt cut out with my die cutting machine.

Don't think I have ever seen bunting around a cake before. Hope you bake and show. #138
Lol I chuckle at the weather because yay what better thing to do than craft for the day. Looks bright and cheery bunting:) Sandy #109
It's funny because I had the same thoughts here today. It was raining so hard for most of the day...so I decided to bake and draw.
If only I'd have seen your blog first, I'd maybe have made some cute bunting like your's...but I made Ginger and Treacle loaf (yum) and finished my drawing instead.
Your felt work is amazing.
Thanks for letting me take a peek ~ have fun with WOYWW. Neesie #22
