Crochet has been on my to do list for ages and although I've tried to teach myself a couple of times, I just couldn't get to grips with it. So after a bit of research I managed to find a local course and this afternoon I went along for my first lesson. I have to admit that I was all fingers and thumbs to start with but by the end of the session I had made my first granny square. I then immediately came home and made a second! They are not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but I am very happy with my first attempts and suspect I'll be making a few more over the course of the weekend - it's a bit addictive!
Did you learn anything new today?
Have fun. xx

At my craft group some of people can crochet so at our next meeting we are going to have a "them as can will how them as can't " session and take in any crochet pieces we have. I've got some lovely pieces which you can see on. Y blog if you put in the word search "crochet".
Good luck with yours. I like the colours you are using.
