Although I have a dedicated crafting space upstairs, I tend to do most of my making at my kitchen table, particularly if I am using the sewing machine as the light is much better. This means of course, that everything I have been working on needs to be cleared away in preparation for dinner or homework, etc. And because I always seem to be doing half a dozen jobs at once, quite often my crafting stash doesn't get put away in the neat and tidy fashion it deserves (I'm sure I'm not the only one, right?). So as a consequence more often than not, my work-desk ends up looking like this:
I know, I know, I can hear the more organised amongst you gasping in horror.
Well. Mr A is away with work at the moment, so I have the evening to myself and am planning on spending some time trying to bring some order to my work-desk. I'm quite looking forward, truth be told, to arranging all those yummy colours into some sort of organised rainbow, although I do think there something very pretty about the jumble of felt, don't you agree?

I had a big clear out of all the fabric scraps left over from the dress making. It was good to see all the rubbish go and wonderful to see nice tidy piles of useful bits. Only another fabricaholic would appreciate it!! x Jo

No you are definitely not on your own. We often sit eating dinner with crafting stuff pushed hastily in a pile onto the floor so there's enough room.
It's very satisfying bringing order to chaos, I hope you had fun.
